GS Families,
I wanted to inform you that this afternoon our schools were in a brief "lockdown." Out of an abundance of caution due to a student safety issue, our schools initiated a lockdown protocol for approximately 10 minutes.
I want to assure you that all students and staff remained safe throughout this event. Our safety procedures /protocols were followed and once the situation was resolved, we were able to quickly return to our normal instructional routines.
The safety of our students and staff is and will always remain our top priority. We thank you for your understanding and continued support of our efforts to maintain a safe learning environment.
Lisa Weigel, Superintendent of Schools
