Dear PCSD #2 Families,
We wanted to make you aware of a situation concerning school safety in the state of Wyoming. We are aware that several school districts across Wyoming have received bomb threats today.
We want to assure you that Platte County School District #2 has not received any direct threats.
However, the safety and well-being of our students and staff remain our absolute top priority. As a proactive and precautionary measure, our School Resource Officer has conducted a thorough sweep of all our buildings this morning and we are in continuous communication with local law enforcement and will remain vigilant.
All school operations are continuing as normal. Thank you for your continued support and understanding as we work together to maintain a safe learning environment.
Lisa Weigel, Superintendent of Schools
