Platte County School District #2 is accepting sealed bids for the sale of the following school vehicles:
• 2016 Ford Taurus – Gray, 68,098 miles, Flex Fuel
• 2017 Ford Taurus – Gold, 47,791 miles, Flex Fuel
Bidders are responsible for submitting bids based on the information provided by the district. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Sealed Bid-Vehicle” and must specify which vehicle the bid is for (2016 Gray or 2017 Gold). Please indicate your name and phone number for contact. Separate bids must be submitted for each vehicle.

Bids will be opened on November 13, 2026, at the District Office. Winning bidders will be notified.

SCHOOL TALK:
Hello All - It is with great excitement that we announce our first Main Stage Production that will take place on October 15th at 2:30 pm. It is the Jewish Folktale of "Derr Golem." It's a full mainstage production and you are all invited.
Teachers if you think your class might need time to incubate that's fine but the invitation is open to everyone. It should be a good time. Ms. Paula will be featuring a small choir of Elementary students so we want to support her in that addition to...the Theatre.
Hello Guernsey Sunrise! The Galley Sandwich Shop is now open to high school students.
If you want a sandwich, you must pre-order and pre-pay by 1:30 PM on Friday or 7:30 AM on Monday for the following. Any questions, come to Mrs. Fredrick or any of your fellow sandwich shop artisans. Mari, Taylor, Sarah, Cruz, Carter, Cade, Myame.

VIKING VOLLEYBALL SHOUTOUT!
A big shout out to our Lady Vikings for a weekend filled with competition and some impressive volleyball!
At the Jamboree, the Vikings continued to battle, work together, and show just how much they have grown as a team. Their final matchup against Hulett was an especially strong finish, showcasing the quality of volleyball these girls are capable of playing when they come together and compete with confidence and determination!
The level of play we saw during the Hulett game is absolutely something to be proud of!

Way to go jr. high football coaches and players. A huge win over the Miners and an undefeated season. Such a great accomplishment!!!
And for our jr. high volleyball girls and coaches. They got 4th place at the SEWAC Tourney which is our highest placement since we joined. Great job!
Our Viking HS Vball team came home with some great victories at the 1A jamboree and fell short in a hard fought game against the Hulett Devils.
