QPR Introduction

Learn how to ask the tough questions of people you may be concerned about who might be at-risk of doing something dangerous to themselves.  The process of question, persuade and refer will be taught to all participants.  Suicide prevention and awareness is crucial in this day and age.  You can ask a question, and save a life.

Crocheted Tea Towel Topper

Make a great gift of a tea towel with a crocheted topper for a friend or yourself!  This project can be made in one night.  This class is designed for experienced crocheters, or beginners who know how to single crochet.  Please register soon.  You will need to supply a tea towel, yarn, and a crochet hook size H or I. The Community Education office does have yarn if you need it.

Paint and Sip Class

This class is open to junior and senior high school students and adults.  Enjoy an evening of painting a Halloween themed painting that you can personalize with guidance from the instructors from Cork and Canvas.  All of the supplies will be provided.  Call early to make your reservation for this unique class! No painting experience needed.

Veterans Day Program

Lake Guernsey VFW Post #4471 will present a program for the school and community to commemorate Veterans Day.  We invite all veterans, both currently serving and retired, to join us so that we can recognize you.

18th Guernsey Holiday Bazaar

The annual Holiday Bazaar is the place to find all of your Christmas gifts, decor and more! There will be vendors with goods ranging from food, gifts, crafts, art, raffles and much more.  Vendors are encouraged to call 836-2736 by Oct. 28 to take advantage of the early registration deadline.

Cost:  Free admission, booth rental for vendors is $20 and up

Christmas Sugar Cookie Creations

Have you always admired the beautifully decorated Christmas cookies but didn’t know how to achieve that special look?  Join Liesl Sisson in this class to learn just how to make those cookies in time for the Christmas holidays!  Please register early.  Bring a cookie sheet or a container to take your cookies home.
